National Children’s Artwork Week
Ipswich Twizzle Tops Nursery

We have had a fabulous time celebrating National Children’s Artwork week! Our twizzle toppers took part in a whole range of art experiences including puffy paint made from shaving foam and paint, large scale art using a huge sheet on the floor, junk modelling, self-portraits and much much more!

Picasso once said “every child is an artist” and it’s so true regardless of age or ability everyone can take part. It’s fun for them but it’s full of learning opportunities in every area including;
*Building their fine and gross motor skills and muscles

*Encouraging their creativity and imagination

*Allows them to explore colour, shape, texture and design

*Improves hand-eye coordination

*Encourages self-expression and boosts self-esteem 

We finished the week with a beautiful art exhibition for our parents to see all the amazing work our Twizzle toppers had done.
