Twizzle Tops Day Nursery Lakeside is based inside the Partyman World of Play premises in our own dedicated rooms, providing childcare for ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Since then we have received a Quality Mark Award and an OfSTED report of ‘Good’ with areas of ‘Outstanding’ in 2012.
Our baby room is set up to stimulate those growing minds and support their physical development. A designated black and white area helps babies gain focus from an early age, and our low-level play equipment is perfect for babies gaining control and balance, allowing them to explore freely and move around the room.
Free flow play has been proven to be more beneficial for the children as it more closely reflects the ‘at home’ experience. When children have more choice and freedom to move between spaces they develop greater independence and are much more content!
Within the rooms, we have so much to explore, from a large indoor sand pit, cosy area and messy play zone, to role play, home corner and mark making area. We have daily adventures into our outside area to feed the ducks, as well as regular fun days within the play centre.

The staff here at Twizzle Tops Lakeside are a close, hardworking and a professional team with childcare our premier passion. All of the team hold a current enhanced DBS check and have a professional working status of a level 3 or above. Our team pride themselves in their work and are dedicated to meeting the children’s individual needs.
Twizzle Tops is unique as the only nursery in Lakeside based within a soft play centre. All the children get exclusive access to Partyman World of Play during the nursery day; promoting physical development and a healthy lifestyle.
