Set in the stunning grounds of Wat Tyler Country Park, we are able to offer our children the unique experience of exploring the outside as well as our resource packed rooms. We enjoy working very closely with our parents and carers and this really showed through our most recent OfSTED report, where we received an “Outstanding” element to co-inside with our overall “Good” rating.
We believe that all children learn through play and we promote this daily, allowing children to choose their activities and promoting self-independence. Twizzle Tops nursery in Wat Tyler offers a very relaxed environment and tries to achieve a home from home experience so that your child easily adapts to the centre and feels safe and secure with our experienced and motivated staff.

My Grandson is currently in the under 3’s group of children. When I collect him I have been impressed with the quality of imaginative play. It is such a pleasure to see such enthusiastic, polite staff who the children enjoy being with. This nursery provides stimulating creative play where each child is treated as a individual but with good interaction with the other children.
Well done Frankie and your team you work hard but the rewards are for all to see. I would recommend anyone to go along and have a look.
Twizzle Tops is located within the grounds of Wat Tyler Country Park – one of Essex’s most beautiful outdoor spaces. The park is managed by Basildon Council, and we work closely with the local authority, wider community, and other agencies to ensure we get the best support to help your child reach their full potential.
The staff and the resources they work with are handpicked to ensure that we meet the Early Years Curriculum that is set out by the Government. This is the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), where we put the needs of your child first and plan their day around their interest, needs and abilities. We work closely with our parents and keep them fully informed on a regular basis.
Each parent and child are assigned a Key Person who will let you know how your child’s day has been at the end of each day, as well as the updates you get via our parent app. You’ll be invited to attend regular parents evenings.
