During the day we love to take part in some mindfulness time. This can be stretching, relaxing, practising our breathing exercises, and closing our eyes to visual calm.
From our youngest Twizzle Toppers to our preschoolers, finding time to take part in acts of mindfulness helps to lower anxiety and stress, increases positive moods, aids better decision making, improves emotional regulation skills and supports health and body image. All of which are important to support development, but even more so at the moment in the current pandemic.
You can try some at home too by blowing bubbles, cloud watching, trying some baby yoga or how about stretching to relaxing music.
