The Role:
- A recently restructured nursery with a new manager, our Ipswich nursery is looking for a Baby Room Leader / Third in Charge to join the team. The manager is hands on and supportive in their drive to achieve great things and will support you to do the same.

We’re looking for someone to:
- Collaborate closely with the Deputy Manager to lead and inspire our dedicated team, fostering positive working relationships and providing effective mentorship.
- Partner with the Deputy Manager to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with Ofsted standards through teamwork and collaboration.
- Assist the Deputy Manager in upholding legal and statutory requirements, ensuring all operational activities align with regulatory standards.
- Take charge of day-to-day operations as delegated, ensuring smooth nursery functionality and support for the team.
- Work alongside the Deputy Manager to establish nursery goals and monitor progress against targets, collaborating with the Twizzle Tops Senior Team.
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain the highest standards of care and education.
- Support team members with individual needs of children, promoting inclusive and tailored learning experiences.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure the well-being of all.
Essential Criteria:
- 2+ years of experience working in an Early Years setting
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Experience working in a Baby Room
- Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance.
- Knowledge and proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities and leading a team’s professional development.
- Knowledge of child protection, health and safety, equal opportunities and SEN/Inclusion and experience of supporting and leading a team.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality learning opportunities through team collaboration and best practice
