I Frankie Benedetti am the Nursery Manager for Twizzle Tops Basildon, I have been managing since January 2013 and was previously the Deputy Manager. I work alongside a fantastic team who are all qualified and experienced in their own child care fields. I also hold a Level 4 in Children's Care and Development, and I am going onto study for my degree later this year.
Courtney Key became the Deputy Manager here at Twizzle Tops Basildon in February 2013. She joined Twizzle Tops in June 2012 as Senior Nursery Nurse holding a Level 3 in Childcare and Development and worked her way up to Deputy Manager. Courtney has six years experience within childcare. Courtney overseas both the Baby and Toddler rooms and provides support when needed to the room leaders in post.
Courtney has also attended and completed first aid, behaviour management, food and hygiene, Equality Needs Co-Ordinator, Allergy training and completed a Level 1 Safeguarding course. Courtney enjoys interaction with the children and watching them grow and develop.
Third in Charge
Sarah King is joint Third in Charge. Sarah joined us in July 2012 as a Nursery Nurse and has quickly worked her way up to Third in Charge. Sarah is based within the Toddler Room and works closely alongside a group of eight Key Children where she plans and observes all children to ensure they are learning through play.
Sophie England is our Baby Room Leader, she has been with us since January 2013 and holds a distinction in Health and Social Care. Sophie is looking to start her degree in childcare in the near future. Sophie works closely alongside our Deputy taking ideas and advice into consideration to get the best care and education for the babies. Sophie enjoys working with all children within the Baby Room and is aware of each child’s daily routine and completes planning daily to meet individual needs in all areas of development. Sophie has a good relationship with all parents and takes the time to get to know them as well as their child.
Karleigh-Jay Cousins joined us in 2013 as Toddler Room Leader, Karleigh is qualified in Health and Social Care since 2011 and went on to working closely alongside families, this is where she gained her knowledge and experience that helped her become the Room Leader that she is. Karleigh enjoys being creative with the children and presenting their work through wall displays linking to the EYFS. Karleigh works alongside two qualified members of staff who support Karleigh with ideas and weekly planning, she enjoys teaching the children to count and recognising colour.
